2010 Missouri Dexter Breeders Association Show and Sale

The 2010 MDBA Show and Sale will take place on August 27-28 at the Laclede County Fairgrounds in Lebanon, MO.  Check-in will start Friday, August 27 at noon, the show will start at 9:00am on Saturday, August 28 with the sale following at 1:00pm.  Check-out will begin at the end of the sale..  If you would prefer to have assistance with showing your animal/s, the local FFA/4H youth will be available to exhibit your animals in the ring on your behalf.

Jim and Linda Smith of Whistle Ranch have donated a Dexter steer that will be raffled off to benefit the Dade County 4H program. Thank you Jim and Linda.

Attached is the 2010 MDBA Show and Sale entry form, Please complete the form and mail it to Ted Anderson at 9433 E. Emerald Springs Lane Strafford, MO. 65757 before July 31st, please remember that a copy of the ADCA pedigree must be attached as well as all entry fees.  REMINDER: the sale portion is for FEMALE CATTLE ONLY (Exception: We will accept bull calves for the sale only if they are part of a cow calf pair being sold and the calf has not been weaned. We will not split them in the sale ring. Registration of the bull calf is desirable, but not mandatory.)  The show portion is open to both.  All cattle participating in the show and/or sale must be halter broke as there are no enclosed alley ways to run the cattle down, all animals will need to be walked via halter to the show and sale arena.  The entry form deadline is July 31st, any forms received afterwards will not be included in the 2010 MDBA Show and Sale program book but will still be accepted into the show and sale. ($5.00 late entry fee will be applied to each late entry received after July 31st.)
